Sun Safety Tips for Raleigh

Sun Screen

Be sure to apply sun screen every time you go outside.

The Exchange at Brier Creek has beautifully landscaped BBQ areas, a heated salt water pool, Jacuzzi, and sun deck, where you will undoubtedly be spending a large amount of your free time this summer. Although these fantastic amenities gives you an opportunity to experience the beautiful weather in Raleigh, the sun’s harmful rays can cause serious skin damage including cancer.

If you are looking to have a fun time outside this summer, you will need a few sun safety tips.  The most important thing to remember is your sunblock.  Apply sunblock before cooking out, swimming in the pool, or sunning on the relaxing sundeck at The Exchange at Brier Creek.

Your sunblock should be at least a 15 SPF or higher, and children need a 30 SPF or higher.  You need to reapply your sunblock after heavy sweating or swimming to make sure you have constant protection.

Whether you are visiting the Business Center, or in route to the Cyber Cafe at The Exchange at Brier Creek, grab your sunglasses, wide rimmed hat, and SPF lip balm, and step out into a new, sun-filled adventure.
